Wonderfull place , we.stayed in the Blue Wren cottage for two. Lovely walks, about 20 minute walk to town.
The relaxed ambience of the open air picturesque farm land beautifully decorated with splashes of tropical flowers hosted a vase population of cows & wildlife birds which boasted a warm inviting atmosphere during our stay.As the sun rises, the sound of the birds bathing from a close by well maintained swamp made waking up such a breeze. As the sun sets, the walls of each room including the dining and kitchen areas gets sunkissed with its golden rays.Peligan point sanctuary sits within safe walking/cycling distance to its main city and a close driving distance to one of the world's most best secret beaches Bay of fires-The Garden Binalong bay Its crystal clear waters boast warm inviting temperatures, abundant colorful fish, magnificent coral formations, beach camp sites and so much more. Other MUST DO tourist attractions within close proximity includes the following but not limited too: St. Helen's information/history center Annies Cottage Crafts The shop in the bush Pyengana Holy Cow Cafe Columba falls Amanda our all rounder receptionist, information assistant, house keeper and 24hr on call assistance exceeded all customer service expectations. She went way beyond what was expected of her to ensure our stay was stress free, peaceful & relaxing.Amanda contacted us a day before arriving to make sure we drive safely from Salamanca Markets, helped organise late check in for us, provided Information packs on the above listed tourist attractions & more (wine tasting, beer tasting) that is within 30-40mins max driving distance, organised fire woods collected for us to utilise its fire pit the night before our departure so we wont need to purchase any and on a daily base dropped by to see if we require further house keeping.Although the accomodation was perfect, Amanda was the icing on the cake which really created a memorial experience for us and would highly recomend Amanda for any future career journeys she wishes to embark on. Unique, one of a kind resorts complete with Wombie the Wombat. Amanda is a great host and made our short stay ideal.
We had a beautiful overnight stay in the Blue Wren room. The view is great and it is located only a few minutes from St Helen's and 15 minutes by car from Binnalong Bay. It was quiet in the evening and we awoke to the sound of rhe birds in the morning. Highly recommended.
Outstanding accommodation. Close to St Helens township. Welcome from hostess was excellent. Own cooking facilities if required. Thoroughly recommend for restful holiday in nature's own beautiful area.
