This is an incredible place, an extensive collection of maritime photographs, paintings, maps, models, artifacts, and documents, all annotated in detail by the founder/curator of the museum. Australian exploration and naval history are covered, but this museum aspires to cover the subject globally, so there are large portions devoted to other nations navies, exploration, and events. A lifetime of work went into this collection, and while we are not familiar with the maritime world, we found this place absolutely fascinating.
