A wonderful dinner, had the salad and catch of the day. Like many places in Tasmania, help is hard to get. But the two people working the dining room are always very attentive, and chef Nina delivers some of the plates herself. We thought the prices reasonable, through this is not - nor does it present itself as - inexpensive (quality ingredients, good atmosphere). If you are looking for a nice evening out, this is a good choice.
Food was well done. Good atmosphere. Excellent find in a coastal town!
Good food but extremely pricey for the size. $136 for an entree of tasty samosa type dish. A main course of seafood pasta with 3 prawns and a few tiny pieces of salmon. You can make anything tasty if you fry it in garlic, capers, butter and olive oil! Two courses and a few wines and leave still a little hungry. Not cool.
Had a great dinner here earlier tonight. Place was surprisingly quiet on a Tuesday night but the warm hospitality made up for that. The catch of the day, which was recommended on a bed of risotto and asparagus was delicious and the peach crumble dessert, also specially recommended, was superb. My wifes beef cheek was also very good, albeit a bit jelly-ish in parts.Highly recommended
A beautiful restaurant with stunning food. Great for groups. Friendly staff. Locally sourced seafood. I highly recommend eating here when/if you get a chance. Everything was perfect.
